Helping States Improve their Science and Technology Research Infrastructure and Competitiveness
The EPSCoR/IDeA Foundation is aimed at promoting the national importance of strong science and technology research infrastructure in all states and improving the university research infrastructure and competitiveness of states that have historically received less federal research funding.
Foundation Activities
The EPSCoR/IDeA Foundation's mission is realized by: (1) strengthening the federal and state EPSCoR (Experimental Program to Stimulate Competitive Research) and IDeA (Institutional Development Award) -like programs, (2) expanding the participation of EPSCoR / IDeA researchers in federal science and technology programs and policies, and (3) disseminating the contributions of EPSCoR / IDeA research to the nation's science and technology enterprise.
