A report to the National Science Foundation (NSF) on the EPSCoR 2030 Workshop to to the National Science Foundation, held in Washington DC on January 19-20, 2012. The two-day workshop produced observations about the value of the NSF program and recommended programmatic changes to be made both by NSF and by the EPSCoR states that can enhance EPSCoR’s effectiveness.

Dr. Chris Lawson, Executive Director of the Alabama EPSCoR program, testified on behalf of the EPSCoR/IDeA Coalition before the House Commerce-Justice-Science Appropriations Subcommittee at their public witness hearing on March 21st, 2013. His testimony highlighted the important work that the NASA and NSF EPSCoR programs contribute to the advancement of science and technology including; a strengthened economy, a more highly skilled workforce, and the innovative solutions that make our country more competitive.
