CDI

The Centers Development Initiative (CDI) was the predecessor to ASCEND. The initiative was funded by NSF from November 2001 to April 2006, and during that period, CDI aided EPSCoR university research teams to compete successfully for 22 NSF centers or large-scale projects, representing over $140 million in NSF funding.
