Date/Location
November 12, 2003  |  Thurman J. White Forum Building, University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK

Goal
To present information about NSF's Graduate Teaching Fellows in K-12 Education (GK-12) program to the EPSCoR community and to provide EPSCoR participants with first-hand information from successful PIs on how to develop competitive GK-12 proposals.

Participants
Participants will include EPSCoR investigators interested in developing GK-12 proposals (including those who have competed unsuccessfully in a past NSF GK-12 competition), NSF program officers, and outside experts/consultants from EPSCoR and non-EPSCoR universities (PIs of ongoing GK-12 projects).

Background
The EPSCoR Centers Development Initiative (CDI) is funded by NSF to provide consulting and technical assistance to research teams in the EPSCoR states competing for NSF centers and other large-scale projects. CDI also maintains a portfolio of proactive workshops as a way to attract wider EPSCoR community participation and to uncover specific projects for its technical assistance portfolio.
